Mahindra has launched the XUV 7XO in India, starting at INR 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom), closely matching the outgoing XUV 700.
The 7XO is essentially a facelift of the popular XUV 700, offering a refreshed exterior, upgraded interiors, and tech borrowed from Mahindra’s electric vehicle lineup.

The front is more squared off, featuring a redesigned grille and angular dual-barrel LED projector headlights, complemented by twin LED fog lamps. The side profile shows new alloy wheels, while the rear gets updated tail lamps and a restyled bumper, giving the SUV a modern yet familiar appearance.

Inside, top variants feature a tri-screen setup, including a co-passenger display for streaming content. Front seats are power-adjustable, with a memory function for the driver, and the co-passenger seat includes a powered ‘Boss Mode’ to create more rear legroom. Second-row seating can be a bench or individual captain chairs, while rear passengers get wireless charging, sun blinds, and easier third-row access.

The XUV 7XO comes with Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, 540-degree cameras, multizone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
Engine options remain the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with 200hp and 2.2-litre diesel with 185hp, both available with manual or automatic gearboxes. Higher diesel trims offer all-wheel drive, and revised suspension dampers improve ride quality.

Safety features include seven airbags, ISOFIX anchors, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and the full suite of ADAS, with Mahindra confirming the 7XO matches the XUV 700’s five-star safety performance under Bharat NCAP standards.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO rivals the Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar in the Indian market.
